Artifact F2: Professional Letter
This entry contains a letter for professional promise from a current professional I have worked with during my time in the program. Sarah H. Jones, the writer of the letter, was my supervisor and mentor during my summer internship with New Student Programs at Cornell University in the summer of 2013. Sarah continually supports my professional development through the end of my graduate program, the job search, and beyond. This entry demonstrates my future professional promise in the field of student development based on my contributions to the transfer programs at Cornell. I committed my work to foster community within diverse populations to set students up for success. Even with varying levels of success, I reflect on all my work as integral to begin addressing gaps in orientation for marginalized students.
This entry addresses learning outcomes number 3 (Exhibiting professional integrity and ethical leadership in professional practice), number 6 (Developing and demonstrating skills in leadership and collaboration), and number 10 (Establishing and enhancing professional identity).
